Abstract

Objective: To develop a computerized navigation model for oncology patients in the public network, linked to the Unified Health System (SUS), in the state of Pará. Methods: Descriptive and methodological study, divided into two stages (creation and validation of the website: Caminho Contra o Câncer). In the first stage, health and technology experts discussed and developed a website based on already consolidated tools and artificial intelligence. In the second stage, validation occurred through the opinion of nine experts in the field of oncology, using a Likert scale. The data were consolidated and analyzed in tables for analysis of the opinions of these judges. Results: The development of this tool, which could be accessible from anywhere and without bureaucracy that would slow down contact and support to the patient, was carried out. It can be found at the following electronic address: https://www.caminhocontraocancer.com.br/. In the process of validating this navigation model for cancer patients, it was possible to contribute the opinions of nine judges, who absolutely positively evaluated the website. Conclusion: this work demonstrated that combining technological tools, truthful information, and the possibility of accessing medical specialists can lead to the creation of a website that provides a safe, reliable, and easy path for cancer patients.
