Abstract

In 2019, the world was devastated by the spread of a new coronavirus, called Covid-19, so lethal, so fast in its contamination that the world simply stopped because of the pandemic that still afflicts many countries, especially Brazil. It is a disease that has important and serious implications for the health of those who are affected by it, especially individuals who have some type of comorbidity and who, even after overcoming the disease, often have sequelae that persist in compromising quality of life. of these people. This study aims to describe the incidence of sequelae caused by Covid-19 in patients with comorbidity. The importance of the proposed theme is the need to better understand the disease and what it causes in the body as a way of adopting the most relevant approaches for its treatment and improving the living conditions of post-covid-19 patients, which constitutes a second challenge to be faced after winning the fight for life against the disease. This is a bibliographic study with consultation of works, articles and publications by the most renowned authors, ensuring the proper theoretical basis for the proposed theme.
