Abstract

Advanced access is characterized as an alternative to traditional models of scheduling and health care, being implemented in basic health units, as well as in São Caetano Do Sul. This tool overcomes some difficulties found in traditional models that increase patient satisfaction. users due to several factors, such as the risk stratification that makes it possible to organize daily problems in a health service. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were changes in scheduling and care at the basic health units in São Caetano do Sul, which discontinued elective care and group activities and absorbed the demand for health care through advanced access. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the quality of primary health care from the perspective of users and a unit that uses advanced access as a scheduling model during the COVID-19 pandemic. A basic health unit in the city of São Caetano do Sul was used as a model and the instrument used for this analysis was the PCA-Tools. The main finding of this study is that even with the significant change in the dynamics of care at the health unit due to the COVID-19 pandemic, users positively assess the quality of PHC. What most impacts this positive assessment are the attributes of longitudinality, Integrality in health and family and community orientation.
