Introduction: Due to the atypical moment experienced since 2020, with the social isolation resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important to understand its impacts on the population's lifestyle. These changes imposed by the pandemic also resulted in challenges for students, with modified lifestyle and sedentary lifestyle, reflecting in biological rhythms. Objective: In this perspective, this work aims to conduct a narrative review of the literature on the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on the circadian rhythm of the students. Methodology: To construct this review, a search was made in the Pubmed and Scielo databases. Results: We found 36 articles only in the Pubmed database and none in the Scielo database, based on the categorization criterion, analysis of titles and abstracts, 7 articles from the Pubmed database were included. The articles addressed changes in sleep pattern, social jet lag, chronotype and changes in students' quality of life in the COVID-19 pandemic, indicating the influence of these factors on circadian rhythm. Conclusion: Thus, we conclude that social isolation generated in the students a change in life habits causing negative impacts on circadian rhythm due to changes in sleep pattern, chronotype and quality of life.
