DIGITAL HEALTH CHALLENGES IN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: AN INTEGRATIVE REVIEW OF SCIELO

The new coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) contributed to highlight the numerous challenges and demands in the most diverse health scenarios in Brazil. The aim of this paper was to carry out an integrative literature review on digital health challenges in the COVID-19 pandemic. The terms "Digital Health" AND "Coronavirus Infections" were crossed in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO) database, which resulted in the obtaining of 60 published articles and the final selection of six of these, according to the previously established inclusion and exclusion criteria . Among the studies included, all were in Portuguese and four articles in 2020. From the results obtained, it was verified that Telehealth and Telemedicine are the main technological tools, aimed at minimizing the impacts of COVID-19, as well as a considerable public and governmental acceptability. Additionally, for the Brazilian reality, tools such as the e-SUS APS online diary, Coronavirus App, Chatbot for answering questions, Technological Ecosystem, Telephone Service, WhatsApp, Telemedicine, Telehealth and Self-Assessment Software stand out as the main information technologies. Considering the few articles published on the topic of digital health in the COVID-19 pandemic, the encouragement and efforts to develop studies are relevant, in order to better demonstrate and discuss the potential of different information and communication technologies strategies in the context of care and health management.
